1. Eligibility for Returns

We accept return requests under the following circumstances:

  • The product received is damaged, defective, or incorrect.
  • The product has a manufacturing defect.
  • The item delivered is different from what was ordered.

To be eligible for a return:

  • The return request must be initiated within 7 days of receiving the order.
  • The product must be unused, unwashed, unworn, and in its original condition.
  • Original tags, labels, packaging, invoices, and accessories (if any) must be intact.
  • Products showing signs of use, alteration, washing, or damage caused by the customer will not be eligible for return.

2. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or exchange unless received in a damaged or defective condition:

  • Sarees with fall and pico customization completed upon customer request.
  • Products customized, altered, or tailored as per customer specifications.
  • Gift cards or promotional items.
  • Clearance sale, discounted, or final sale products (unless damaged or defective).

3. Return Process

To request a return:

  1. Contact our customer support team at info@studioethnika.com within 7 days of delivery.
  2. Provide:
    • Order Number
    • Product Name
    • Reason for Return
    • Clear photographs of the product (if damaged, defective, or incorrect)
  3. Once approved, we will provide return instructions.

StudioEthnika reserves the right to inspect returned products before approving a refund or replacement.

4. Exchange Policy

We may offer an exchange for:

  • Damaged products
  • Defective products
  • Incorrect products delivered

Exchange requests are subject to product availability. If the requested replacement is unavailable, a refund may be processed as per this policy.

5. Refund Policy

Once the returned item is received and inspected:

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days.
  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used during purchase.
  • Processing time may vary depending on your bank, payment provider, or card issuer.

If you have not received your refund after the stated period, please contact your payment provider before reaching out to us.

6. Shipping Charges

  • Original shipping charges are generally non-refundable.
  • Return shipping charges may be borne by the customer unless the return is due to:
    • A damaged product
    • A defective product
    • An incorrect item delivered by StudioEthnika

In such cases, StudioEthnika may arrange return pickup or reimburse reasonable return shipping costs.

7. Product Variations

Our products are often handcrafted and may involve traditional weaving, dyeing, printing, or embroidery techniques. Slight variations in:

  • Color
  • Texture
  • Weave
  • Design placement

are natural characteristics of handmade and artisanal products and should not be considered defects.

Additionally, actual product colors may vary slightly due to photography, lighting conditions, and screen display settings.

8. Cancellation Policy

Orders may be cancelled before dispatch by contacting our customer support team.

Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be cancelled and will be subject to the return process outlined in this policy.

StudioEthnika reserves the right to cancel any order due to:

  • Product unavailability
  • Pricing errors
  • Payment issues
  • Suspected fraudulent activity

In such cases, a full refund will be issued.

9. Damaged Packages

If the package appears damaged at the time of delivery:

  • Please take photographs before opening the package.
  • If possible, refuse delivery and immediately notify us.
  • Report the issue within 48 hours of delivery for faster resolution.
